Notice |
Office W. & W. R. R. Co. {Wilmington
& Weldon RR} |
Wilmington, N. C., June 8th, 1861 |
|
The night trains are continued
temporarily for the accommodation of the military service mainly, and
are only temporary. The mis-connection at Weldon by this train is
unavoidable, as ten hours have been deemed a necessary allowance of
time in which to run those large trains with safety. |
The day train has no orders to
leave Weldon until the other trains are due, and this Company never
orders its trains to leave passengers when the connection trains are
in sight or hearing. |
By order, |
