| At a meeting of the
Stockholders of this road, at Yarbrough's Hotel, Raleigh, on the 16th
inst., K. P. Battle, Esq., was elected President, at a salary of
$1,500 per year. The following gentlemen were appointed Directors:
Geo. W. Mordecai, Dr. W. J. Hawkins, J. E. Allen, S. S. Royster, and
Elias Bryan. |
