| Directors' Meeting |
| The Board of Directors of the
Wilmington & Weldon Rail Road Company, which assembled in this
place on Tuesday last, 7th inst., elected Mr. John W. Thompson,
Secretary and Treasurer, in the place of Mr. James S. Green, deceased.
Mr. Thompson is a thorough business man, and in every way qualified to
discharge the duties of the office. Mr. T. has been Transportation
Agent of the Road for several years past, which position he has filled
with entire satisfaction to the Company and credit to himself. |
