The Desoto Ferry |
It is suggested by our Louisiana friends
that they would be greatly accommodated if the Ferry Boat would delay
to Twenty minutes after Two o'clock before crossing over. Persona are
hurried away from the City in order to cross on the Ferry at 2:00
o'clock and then have to wait at the Depot until half past Two before
the {Vicksburg, Shreveport & Texas RR} Train
leaves. Ten minutes in town is often of more importance than an hour
spent at the Depot. |
