Another day has passed with a fair and
prosperous business. The receipts of Produce are immense. None, except
those engaged in transportation or receiving, can form any estimate
that would be correct. A perfect avalanche of Corn, Bacon, Lard, Flour
and all the necessaries of life, are pouring down the Western &
Atlantic Railroad from the West, and being distributed at this point. |
