Our Railroads |
At a meeting of the Stockholders of the Macon & Brunswick
Railroad, the former Board of President and Directors was
re-elected. Judge Cochran, the able and energetic President, is now
in the city. |
The trains on the B. & F. Railroad are now making regular
trips as far as Waynesville. As soon as the work on the Satilla
Bridge shall be finished, the work of track laying, we understand,
will be commenced immediately. We learn that the wet weather has
much retarded the work on the road. |
