On and after Monday the 22d
August, the passenger Trains, will run as follows: |
From Petersburg to Lynchburg |
Mail Train starts daily at
5:30 A.M., reaches Lynchburg at 12:36 P. M. |
Passenger Train starts daily,
except Sundays, at 4:45 P. M., reaches Lynchburg at 12:30 A. M. |
From Lynchburg to Petersburg |
Mail rain starts daily at 11
A. M., reaches Petersburg at 6 P. M. |
Passenger Train starts daily,
except Sundays, at 10:30 P. M., reaches Petersburg at 6:30 A. M. |
These trains connect with two
daily trains to the Springs, Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, &c., t New
Orleans. |
This is the shortest and most
expeditious route to all parts of Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi,
Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas. |
The City Point Train leaves
Petersburg daily, except Sundays, at 7 A. M., and 12 Noon, and City
Point at 8:30 A. M., and 1:30 P. M. Extra trains are run to and from all
the steam packets when necessary. |
