| Important Notice |
| Stockholders of the Richmond & Petersburg Railroad
Company, who have or shall have dividends due to them and uncollected,
are hereby notified that all dividends will be payable only in the
Treasury notes of the Confederate States (in which, during the existing
war, those dividends have been earned) until the first day of February,
1865, and after that date, at the option of the Company, in the said
Treasury notes or in the bonds of the Confederate States, valued and
paid at the price (without interest) paid for such bonds by this
Company. |
