| The Georgia Central Railroad

| The Central Railroad has been repaired from Macon to
Gordon, and the hands are now at work on the Milledgeville and Gordon
road, which is expected to be completed to the vicinity of Milledgeville
in a work or ten days. |
| A temporary bridge made of flats has been thrown across
the Oconee at Milledgeville. |
