| The Chatham Railroad |
| We learn that a meeting of the
Commissioners named in the charter of the above mentioned company, was
held on 20th March in this city. Dr. Thomas D. Hogg was chosen
Chairman. Dr. Hogg and Kemp P. Battle, Esq., were appointed a
committee to confer with the President and Directors of the North
Carolina and the Raleigh & Gaston Railroad Companies, and report
to an adjourned meeting to be held Thursday, April 4th next, at the
office of Sion H. Rogers, Esq., in this city. |
