From Wilmington |
A fire occurred at 1 o'clock P. M., on the
28th, in a lot of cotton. Four hundred and thirty-five bales of cotton
were consumed in front of the Custom House without any damage to the
building, however. |
Two car-loads of cotton were burned the
same morning on the Wilmington & Weldon railroad four miles from
the city. |
