Arrival and Departure of Trains
The Schedules of the N. C. Railroad and of the Raleigh & Gaston Railroad were changed on Monday last. These changes are not infrequent, and as our railroads, unlike all the other roads in the country, never advertise these changes, persons wishing to travel are often considerably disappointed. In order to inform our readers in regard to this matter, we have taken the trouble to ascertain the hours of arrival and departure of the trains coming to and going from this city. Below we publish the schedules of the two roads:

N. C. Railroad

Mail Train to Goldsboro', -- arrives at 5:30 A. M., and leaves at 5:45 A. M.
Freight and Accommodation Train to Charlotte -- arrives at 6:54 A. M., and leaves at 7:30 A. M.
Mail Train to Charlotte -- arrives at 4:50 P. M., and leaves at 5:00 P. M.
Freight and Accommodation Train to Goldsboro -- arrives at 4:58 P. M., and leaves at 5:20 P. M.

Raleigh & Gaston Railroad
