Augusta, May 28th --
General Davis, accompanied by the Hon. Robt. Toobs and the Hon. L. T.
Wigfall, passed through Augusta last night. President Davis was called
out and spoke at the Hotel to an immense multitude. The party left for
Wilmington at 8 o'clock P. M. |

Wilmington, 28th May, 9 A. M.
President Davis and party passed Marion Court House 15 minutes ago (70
miles the other side of Wilmington.) They are due at Wilmington at noon
today, and they will be in Richmond tomorrow, Wednesday morning, early, |

Petersburg, May 28th
President Davis left Wilmington per Weldon at three o'clock this
afternoon. The President is in feeble health. |
[According to a private
dispatch received in this city yesterday evening, President Davis will
arrive in this city today, at six o'clock in the morning.] |
