Important to Norfolk Shippers
A dispatch from Campbell Wallace, Esc., President of the East Tennessee & Georgia Railroad, to W. Mahone, Esq., President of the Norfolk & Petersburg Railroad, 10th inst., says:
"There is no tariff obstructions on goods on goods going to Nashville and Memphis thisway. This may be relied upon.
"All goods for this section of the country shipped by the Virginia Steamship Company's steamers, via Norfolk, will therefore reach their destinations promptly, and free from 'tariff obstructions.'
