Blue Mountain & Rome Railroad
   The House bill authorizing the President to have constructed a railroad, for military purposes, between Blue Mountain, Alabama, and Rome, Georgia, and appropriating one million, one hundred and twenty-two thousand and eighty-two dollars and ninety-two cents for he construction of the same.
   Mr. Clay, of Alabama, explained the military advantages which would result from the construction of this road.
   Mr. Oldham objected to the passage of this bill on general principles, and demanded the ayes and noes on its passage. The bill was passed, ayes 14, noes 4.
