| The Yankee Engines |
| The splendid locomotive "Hero" captured
some time ago from the "U. S. Military Railroads," is now doing good
service on the Virginia Central. The "President" recently brought down,
is to be repaired and put upon the same road. The "Job Terry" is now in
working order, and, though not a superior engine, is capable of doing
good work to the detriment of the "sick and comfort of
