| The Board of
Directors of the Virginia Central Rail Road Company have declared a
dividend of three per cent upon the capital stock of the company,
payable to the stockholders on and after the 15th November, 1861, in
bonds of the Confederate States of America. |
| The books of
transfer will be closed until the adjournment of the Annual Meeting of
the Stockholders. |
