| Runaways |
| The following named slaves, who, with the
names of their owners, their ages and descriptive marks, are
enumerated below, have runaway since the 18th day of April, 1862, from
the employment of the Richmond, Fredericksburg
& Potomac Railroad Company. All
persons who shall apprehend any of them, and deliver them to their
owners, or to the Jailors of their respective counties, will be
entitled to the rewards and mileage provided in the 105th chapter of
the Code of Virginia. In addition to which this Company will pay for
each one so apprehended and delivered to any of its agents authorized
to receive them, a further reward of five dollars. |
