| The contract for connecting the {Richmond
&} Petersburg and Fredericksburg {Richmond,
Fredericksburg & Potomac} Railroads by means of a railway
through this city, has been awarded to Mr. David Bissett, of
Petersburg, who will, it is said, proceed immediately in the execution
of the work. which was declared sometime since to be a military
necessity. |
