| Mail Failures |
| We received no Southern mail last evening
from any point beyond Petersburg. The Western mail failed entirely. The storm on Tuesday occasioned
considerable damage on the
Virginia
& Tennessee
railroad, and it is conjectured that the
trains upon the {Richmond &} Danville
and Southside railroads have been interrupted from a similar cause. |
