Fatal Railroad Accidents |
The Charlotte (N. C.)
Bulletin, of the 28th, publishes the following: |
On Saturday night, the Express
train on the N. C. Railroad ran over the
body of a man named John Corbett, killing him instantly. The accident
occurred about midway between High Point
and Thomasville. It is supposed he was intoxicated at the time. |
A negro boy, the property of
Mr. John Moore, was run over on Sunday night last, by the North Carolina
train, leaving Charlotte, about one mile from town and instantly killed. The occurrence was
purely accidental. |
