High Price for Negroes |
A contractor on the Mobile
& Ohio Railroad communicates to the
Mobile Tribune that he sold, on the 15th, his force of seventy odd
negroes, (which he has had in the contract of this road,) men, women,
and boys, at an average of $1,370 50, at 12 months credit, with
interest. |
