| Killed on the Railroad |
| A. C. Cromble, Assistant
Surgeon 1st Texas regiment, was killed by falling under the cars on
the Wilmington & Weldon railroad,
near Faison's, on the night of the 8th inst. He was literally torn
limb from limb. His body was interred by the Postmaster at Falson's. |
