| Mobile to Memphis |
| On Wednesday last the final rail
required to connect the Mobile & Ohio with the Memphis &
Charleston Railroad at Corinth, Mississippi, was duly laid, and on
Thursday the auspicious event was celebrated by an inter-State
excursion, a ball, &c. But fifteen miles more of iron require
laying down and the whole vast design of the Mobile & Ohio Road
will be complete. |
