| Notice to Shippers of Freight |
| This road will not receive any
freight to pass over the East Tennessee and Virginia Roads beyond
Chattanooga, until further notice; nor can it receive freights going
south of Chattanooga for three weeks, except such as have already
accumulated here. Steamboats bringing freight here, intended for this
road, will be compelled to store and wait for their charges until we
can clear out what is already on hand. |
