Mail Route Change of Time
 
   To take effect on and after Thursday, March 14, 1861. Trains leave Galveston for Houston Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of each week, at 7:45 A. M., arriving at Houston 11 A. M. Thursday's train leaves at 10 A. M., or on arrival of New Orleans steamer
   All the above trains make sure connections the same day at Harrisburg, with the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos & Colorado Railway, for Columbus, La Grange, Bastrop, Austin, San Antonio, and all Western and Northern Texas.
   Baggage will be checked at steamboat landing, and conveyed to depot free of expenses.
   Train leaves Houston for Galveston at 5 P. M. -- taking Passengers arriving by Houston & Texas Central and Houston, Tap & Brazoria Railroads; and at Harrisburg, Passengers arriving from the West by the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos & Colorado Railway, reaching Galveston at 8:20 P. M.
   Passenger and baggage conveyed through Houston from Central Railroad to Galveston train, free.
   On Sundays, train leaves Houston at 9 A. M. and Galveston at 2:30 P. M.
   Fare each way, to and from Houston ---$2.00
