An election of eighteen
directors for this railroad company, to serve for twelve months, will
take place at the office of the company, this day, on Camp street,
opposite Lafayette Square, commencing at 9 o'clock, A. M., and ending
at 3 o'clock, P. M. The Louisiana stockholders will elect twelve
directors and the Mississippi stockholders six directors. If a
majority of the stock is not represented the election will be
postponed until this day week. We presume, however, that a large
majority of the stock will be represented, and that the election will
take place in compliance with the stipulations of the charter. |
