A part of Longstreet's corps has reoccupied Fredericksburg, but the indications are no attempt will be made by the enemy to hold that point.
The rails on the Fredericksburg and Aquia Creek Railroad {Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac RR} have all been torn up by the rebels and sent to Richmond, together with every other species of property in that section available for military purposes.
