| The Memphis & Little Rock Railroad |
| This road is now open, and
carrying passengers from Devall's Bluffs to Brownsville. For the
present the stage line from Little Rock connects with the railroad at
Brownville. Before a great while a connection will be made this side
of Rayon Meter, and by the end of the ???, we hope to see the railroad
complete between White and Arkansas rivers. |
