Cross-Ties Wanted
|
The Nashville & North Western Railroad Company wish
to contract for 40,000 Cedar Cross-Ties, 9 feet long, 6 inches thick,
well hewn, to face at narrowest place not less than 8 inches clear of
bark, timber to be sound, to be delivered at the grade line of the
road in Nashville.

The contractors want to contract for 30,000 White or Post
Oak Ties, of the same size as above, to be delivered on the line of
the road in piles from section 14 to section 24, enough on each
section to supply the same.

Persons wishing to bid will direct to the President and
Directors of the Nashville & North-western Railroad Company
