Our railroad is completed {to
Gainesville, not to Tuscaloosa}; as we write the iron horse
stands by our door giving his usual signs of life. After many hindrances
and disappointments, the work, in so far as track laying is concerned,
is done and those who have the work in hand and have devoted to it
their means and aid have the proud satisfaction of seeing their
purposes, in so far, accomplished. |
