| The federals have taken possession of Cedar Keys,
Florida. This is the terminus of the Florida railroad. The town has only
about thirty houses and a hundred inhabitants. The harbor is a good one
for small vessels, as there is nine feet water on the bar. The enemy
captured three schooners and five fishing smacks. |
