| The New Orleans Picayune
understands it is the opinion of the Chief Engineer of the New Orleans
Railroad {The New Orleans & Texas RR},
that it can be built in six months, provided a sufficient amount of
labor be obtained. This road is a link of 117 miles in length and will
connect the Opelousas Road {New Orleans,
Opelousas & Great Western RR} with all the railroads in
Texas. |
