Three More Powerful War Dogs |
At the Junction, yesterday,
three immense guns were transferred from the {Richmond
&} Danville to the South Side Rail Road. A gentleman
present, says they were the largest he has ever seen, measuring over
twelve feet in length, the size of bore being in proportion. They were
manufactured in Richmond, at the Tredegar Iron Works, and are destined
for the glorious State of Alabama. They go by the Virginia, East
Tennessee and other connecting railroads, to their place of
destination. |
