The Late Mail Detentions |
All Right Again |
Memphis has suffered
"some" from mail detentions during the frost for two or
three weeks. By a series of accidents on the railroad lines both south
and east, mail matter has been greatly detained, to the no small
annoyance of the community at large. Yesterday, however, we received
New Orleans and Eastern exchanges from the 13th to the 22d, and
presume the mails will come with more regularity in future. The
accidents on the railroads have been repaired, and all again works
smoothly. |
