| Removal of Government Works |
| We understand that a
considerable train of cars is to be dispatched up the road {the
Mobile & Ohio RR} this
morning, for the purpose of bringing down the machinery of the
government works recently located at Nashville. These have been safely
removed from that place, and are to be transferred to Columbus, Miss.
{on a short branch line going east from the Mobile & Ohio RR}
They will be safe among the Mississippians. |
