| Mississippi Railroads |
| The government is again at
work on the New Orleans, Jackson & Great Northern railroad between
Canton and Jackson, there being about seven miles to complete before
it is in running order. The Mississippi Central road is completed to
within three miles of Canton, and the cars go up as high as Oxford.
The Mississippi & Tennessee road runs from Greensboro' to
Senatobia. The road below Jackson is being put in running order. |
