Louisville and Memphis Railroad {Memphis,
Clarksville & Louisville RR} |
On the line of this road there
are but eighteen miles of iron to be lain, and the whole of the iron
has been received. The contractors are confident of completing the
route by the middle of February. The bridge across the Cumberland will
not, however, be finished at that time: communication will be made by
ferry. |
