| We had the pleasure yesterday
of making the acquaintance of Mr. B. D. Hassell, who now fills the
position of superintendent of the Memphis & Ohio railroad. Mr.
Hassell comes from the New Orleans and Jackson road {New
Orleans, Jackson & Great Northern RR}, and with the energy
and experience which he will bring to bear, we predict that he will
very soon place the Memphis & Ohio road in the category of the
first class roads of the country. |
