| The Beaumont Banner of 26th.
ult., says that the Eastern Texas road was then finished nine miles,
and the iron, ties, grade, etc., all ready for sixty miles. Great
exertions are being made to complete that part from Beaumont to Sabine
Pass, by the time the Texas & New Orleans road is opened from
Houston. |
