| Col. McDade, President of the
Washington county railroad, writes to the Ranger that track-laying is
progressing, between Chappell Hill and Brenham. The company deems it
prudent not run heavy trains over the Brazos bridge at present. They
are considering upon the necessity of having an additional pier. |
