| A meeting of the stockholders of the
Shelby & Broad River Railroad, a charter for which was granted by
the last Legislature, was held at Magnetic Iron works, in South
Carolina on the 29th ultimo. A Board of Directors was elected, and it
was the intention to soon complete the location with the view of
pushing the work to an early completion. This road is to run from
Shelby to some point in South Carolina. |
