Rail Road President |
On Friday of last week, the Directors of
the North Carolina Railroad elected Thomas Webb, Esq., of
Hillsborough, President of said road, in place of Paul C. Cameron,
Esq., resigned. The position is one of importance and responsibility,
and we hope that Mr. Webb will be able to give general satisfaction to
the public -- not a very easy undertaking, in the present state of
affairs. |
