Vicksburg, Shreveport & Texas Railroad |
The steamboat Carrier arrived
at De Soto, La., (opposite Vicksburg,) on the 25th inst., with 150
tons of iron for the Vicksburg, Shreveport & Texas Railroad. The
Vicksburg Whig says this iron will be sufficient to complete the road
to Monroe (Ouachita parish,) which will be done about the 1st of
January or first of February. |
