Splendid Locomotive |
We omitted last week to mention the
appearance of a splendid new locomotive on the North Carolina
Railroad. It was wholly built by the company at their own shops under
the direction of Master Machinist James Anderson, and is as fine a
piece of work as we ever saw. It is handsomely painted and decorated,
and is said to be one of the most powerful in the country. It is call
the "Governor Morehead." {This was a
rebuild of the North Carolina RR's own locomotive named Krytos.} |
