Be Cautious!
The vast amount of transportation on our Railroads keep the Rolling Stock so constantly employed, that it is not apt to be so closely and carefully inspected as it should be. Hence the frequent breaking of axles, couplings, &c., to the serious jeopardy of precious lives. Such an accident occurred near Thomasville on the 26th ult. A large number of persons narrowly escaped mangling and death. Will not the Railroad authorities use all possible caution?
