The Alabama Situation
   *****
The raiders struck the rail road {Alabama & Florida (of Alabama) RR} on Friday, at Gravella, 37  miles above Pollard, and on that and the day following, two engines were damaged -- the wooden work burned off, but machinery not injured. Fourteen cars were burned at Gravella, one at Evergreen, and the depot buildings at Sparta. ****
