| North Carolina Iron Ore |
| We wee presented, yesterday,
with a specimen of Black Band Iron Ore, from the Egypt Mines, Chatham
County, North Carolina. The band from which it was taken, is said to
be 16 inches in thickness, and to be 425 feet from the surface. The
ore may be seen at our office. |
