Northeastern Railroad Company |
The Annual Meeting of the Stockholders of
the Northeastern Railroad Company was held, at the Orphan House, on
Wednesday, 6th April, 1864. |
The Meeting was organized by calling the
Hon. Charles Macbeth to the Chari, and appointing C. Williman, Jr.,
Secretary. |
The reports of the President and Directors
and of the Superintendent of the Company were then read, and, on motion,
adopted. |
On motion made, it was resolved that an
election be held for officers for the ensuing year, whereupon the
following gentlemen were unanimously elected: |

On motion made, it was resolved, that the
proceedings of this meeting be published in the daily papers, and in
pamphlet form for distribution among the Stockholders. |
On motion made, it was resolved, that the
thanks of the meeting be tendered to the Chairman, for the courteous
manner in which he has presided over it. |
There being no further business, the
meeting adjourned. |
