Fatal Accident |
We regret to chronicle a shocking death
which occurred yesterday afternoon about five o'clock, on the track of
the South Carolina Railroad, near Woolf street. One of the railroad
hands, whose name we did not learn, was coupling two of the cars, when
they came together. The unfortunate man fell upon the track, and one
of the wheels passed over his body, crushing him in a horrible manner,
and killing him instantly. |
